This image shows the lighthouse at Penmon, Anglesey.

Penmon is a wonderful location. Although popular with photographers, I usually find I'm the only person there when I visit. I've been a number of times and the sea is always different: sometimes calm, sometimes brooding. This image was taken at sunrise in October. I wanted to capture the movement in the water but too long an exposure turns the sea to mist. I took many images that morning, but this was the one that best captured the scene that day.
